Volunteer at Over The Wall Camp!

Get Ready to Create Some Mischief and Magic!

We are Over The Wall Camp, a Uk based children’s charity. We offer free and fun activity camps for children and young people living with health challenges. These camps provide opportunities for deserving young people and their families to discover a world of mischief, magic and new possibilities. There are two ways for our campers to experience this; at residential camps and through our online programme, Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!

Thank you so much for checking out our volunteering page. Our volunteers support us in helping to create the best possible experience for our campers at our residential and online camps. As a volunteer, you can learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference to the lives of children and young people in a unique and magical environment.

Volunteer applications for Camp 2025 are open!

Join us to inspire success and create memories!

If you have enthusiasm, a sense of fun and a desire to empower children and young adults… volunteering with us might be a perfect fit and we would love to hear from you!

We always welcome new volunteers to help create mischief and magic for our campers and families. There are many opportunities to volunteer with us from residential camps on a site around the UK to online volunteering from the comfort of your own home!

Is volunteering for me?

Absolutely! We don’t expect you to have lots of experience working with children, at camps, or with people with health challenges. We see daily, just how impactful volunteering is for people in growing their confidence, socialising and working with people from diverse careers and backgrounds, responding better to challenges, and gaining transferrable skills that help with employability, and we love for everyone to get as much as they can from volunteering with us! We welcome everybody from different backgrounds, characteristics and skillsets. We firmly believe that everyone has value at camp and would love to meet you to share this experience over a week or weekend. We just ask that you let loose and get back in touch with your silly side, whilst being willing to learn and support our campers!

To protect our campers and volunteers, our application and onboarding process includes reference checks, an Enhanced DBS, proof of MMR (Measels, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination, an informal interview, and attendance of training.
