Join us for our 25th Anniversary by taking on the Peak District Challenge, a trail running or trekking challenge offering 4 levels of difficulty:
- 25km, Copper
- 50km, Bronze
- 75km, Silver
- 100km, Gold Ultra.
Each distance offers a target time to try and beat, from 9 hours to hike 25km up to 24 hours to walk or run the epic 100km Gold Ultra Peak District Challenge.
Motivation and encouragement are provided at checkpoints with water top ups and refreshments. A stew supper is also included on Saturday evening as part of the price of entry.
A professional, qualified safety team will monitor participants throughout. Each team’s GPS tracker allows HQ to see their exact location at any time around the challenge route. Teams can self-navigate using printed route guides and GPX files or join a led walking group accompanied by a fully qualified mountain leader.
All routes are circular and start from Hathersage Memorial Hall (S32 1DU) and finish at Hathersage on the evening of Saturday 14th September 2024. Starting times will vary depending on the challenge:
Copper Challenge: starts at 9:30am Saturday with a finish target on 6:30pm
Bronze Challenge: starts at 8am Saturday with a 12 hour finish target of 8pm
Silver and Gold Ultra: starts at 9pm Friday 13th September with a 24 hour finish target on 9pm Saturday 14th September.
Entry Fees:
Copper 25km: £49
Bronze 50km: £54
Silver 75km: £69
Gold Ultra: £74
If joining a led group with a guide, add £22
