Corporate Volunteering
At Over The Wall Camp, volunteers are at the heart of what we do and are vital to make our camps come to life and bring joy into the lives of our seriously ill children and their families. By return, we offer the opportunity for staff teams to experience the mischief and magic of camp in a range of fun volunteering opportunities.

Our site in Ockbrook, Derby
With the exciting acquisition of our first permanent home for Over The Wall Camp, we will be able to greatly increase the amount of services we can offer and the number of campers we can accommodate.
However, as a disused school, the site needs a lot of care to ensure that it is ready to deliver the magic of camp. This has created a multitude of new volunteering opportunities for your team to take part in, so that you can cement yourselves in the legacy of Ockbrook for years to come. These opportunities include a wide variety of tasks such as sorting, gardening, painting and decorating and will all take place at Ockbrook School in Derby.
We also welcome skilled volunteering from colleagues in any field who would be able to assist in making Ockbrook full of magic and camp ready. Get in touch!
Residential Camp Teammates
Come and be part of a physical camp first-hand! We need hundreds of teammates every year to attend camp (week-long/weekends) and support the children to have the best, safest time possible. All food, accommodation and training is provided. Camps are held across the UK so there’s opportunities for staff to volunteer from across the country.
Camp in the Cloud Teammates
Each Camp in the Cloud is supported by online volunteers who lead activities, encourage campers by writing on message boards and take part in reflective conversations. Our virtual camps are 1-day sessions. Could your team support children to have fun/realise their abilities?
Camp Set Up
It’s all hands-on deck to set up camp! Could your team come to camp to unload boxes, set up activities and decorate the site ready for the campers’ arrival?
