Tackle London’s Cheesegrater, Scalpel, and the Walkie-Talkie in a 475m vertical test of strength and endurance!
Climb The Capital is a unique stair climb challenge, fully accredited with the World Tower Running Association, and the highest challenge of its kind in the UK.
Scale three of London’s tallest skyscrapers
Starting at the Leadenhall Building (aka ‘The Cheesegrater’), followed by 52 Lime Street (aka ‘The Scalpel’) and finally 20 Fenchurch Street (aka ‘The Walkie Talkie’) where a finishers’ reception will take place in the stunning Sky Garden.
125 floors, 250 flights or 3,180 steps
This is the equivalent of stacking about 110 London double-decker buses on top of each other, 1.5x the height of the Eiffel Tower or five times the Statues of Liberty. Luckily for your quads, the safest route down is in a lift, so you are only recorded on the ascent. We will run the event in carefully released waves to avoid congestion.
This event is truly unique. There is nothing else like it in London or even the UK!
We are only asking participants to raise £1 for every metre they ascend, i.e. £475, but we think most participants will exceed this. It’s just £25 to register which includes your goody bag and finishing drink!
To Register, simply visit www.climbthecapital.org and select your place from the ‘Over The Wall Camp’ allocation. It’s as easy as that.
Registration Fee: £25
Fundraising Target: £475
Please note: This is an intense physical challenge; therefore, please register only if you are in strong physical health.
