But that’s not all! With the 50:50 Christmas Appeal, 50% of the total donations raised will go directly to supporting our camps, while the other 50% becomes a Christmas prize for one lucky donor! Every £10 will count as a chance to win.

Milo's Story - A Spark Rekindled

Christmas is a time for family, hope, and joy, but for Sally and her son Milo, the holidays once felt heavy.

Milo, now 12, was diagnosed with a rare chromosome deletion at six years old. This led to struggles in school, social isolation, and mounting anxiety. Over time, Milo’s spark dimmed. Sally recalls – “Milo went from being a happy, confident child to an angry, scared, and anxious one. As a family, we felt broken.“

But everything changed when Milo and his family attended Over The Wall Camp.

On their first night, Milo sat quietly, hood up, avoiding the fun around him. By the next day, Milo’s laughter echoed through the halls! For the first time in years, Sally and her husband, Steve, saw glimpses of the Milo they thought they’d lost. At camp, Milo felt supported, safe, and encouraged to step out of his comfort zone. From tackling the zipline to making new friends, he found joy again.

“Camp has literally changed Milo’s life,” says Sally. “It gave us hope. It saved us as a family.”
