Getting to camp
Camps are in several locations across the UK. There is parking at all our camps, so many families choose to make their own way to us. However, for our Family Camps, we can pick you up from the nearest train station to camp. If you’d like to arrange this, please let us know in your application.
Our free-of-charge residential camps are more than just a holiday!
Campers have transformational experiences when they join the Over The Wall Camp family. You can step into the camp bubble, where our meaningful activity programme has been designed to be inclusive and help every camper succeed. Whether your family make new friends, take on the climbing wall, or find new talents, you should all leave camp feeling proud.
Over The Wall Camp is where many children and young people with health challenges grow their confidence, form lifelong bonds, and feel more independent than ever before.
Our camps have bedrooms and bathrooms, so you’ll have a comfortable place to rest and won’t have to pitch a tent!

To make camp possible for you, our team of nurses is there at all times and can support your family when needed. Camp is a safe and supportive environment for you to step outside your comfort zone.
Camps are run by our Over The Wall Camp staff team and wonderful volunteers.
Over The Wall Camps are 100% free of charge
Over The Wall camps are fully funded by our generous donors and fundraisers, meaning our camps are 100% fun and 100% free, for everyone, all of the time.
Who can join us at camp?
Family Camps
Two nights of fun for the whole family, so the grown-ups don’t miss out!
You can join us if:
At least one member of your family is aged 8-17 years.
And at least one child in your family is living with a health challenge or has finished treatment within the last three years.

I’ve applied! What next?
If we need further information to complete our assessment, a member of our nursing team will contact you. Otherwise, you will hear from us regarding whether your child has been offered a place, on Wednesday 2nd April 2025. Please note that NO offers of places or waitlist offers will be sent before this date.
If you apply for camp after this date, you will be sent an offer or waitlist place as soon as our nursing team has assessed your application.
