Hundreds of children to travel to Staffordshire, Dorset and Scotland in 2025 for fun and magic
Throughout the spring and summer of 2025, Over The Wall Camp will welcome children with long-term health conditions and disabilities to residential and online camps. With their free-of-charge residential activity camps, the charity will help hundreds of children rediscover the mischief and magic of childhood!
When living with health conditions and disabilities, children can miss out on many of the everyday activities enjoyed by their friends and peers, causing feelings of isolation. And when medical appointments and treatments cause anxiety, self-esteem and confidence can suffer. For many children, these effects build and can hinder their growth and development.
But, for twenty-five years, the charity’s camps have been a place where children and young people grow their confidence, form lifelong bonds, and feel more independent than ever before. Their meaningful activity programmes are designed to be inclusive and help every child succeed. The Over The Wall Camp staff team and volunteers provide an experience for these children that is more than just a holiday.
An OTWC camp is not just about crafts, climbing walls, songs and games; it’s about creating intentional environments where our campers feel excited to try new things and take safe risks. Campers leave knowing they can achieve big things, and they’re excited to show the world what they can do!

Rated 'Outstanding' Camps!
Over The Wall Camp will also bring magic to families’ homes with their Camp in the Cloud programme. Camp in the Cloud allows families to spend quality time together with no cost or planning involved for them. The charity sends their ‘Seriously Fun Box’ to families in the post, which is full of games and activities, goodies and surprises! During their one-day experience, families have exclusive password-protected access to the Camp in the Cloud online platform, where they can chat with the other families and take part in various live activities.
Over The Wall Camp caters for children with a wide range of health conditions, including cancer, blood disorders, and autoimmune conditions.
The care they provide has earned them an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted.
At our camps, the medical needs of each camper are carefully managed by an exceptional team of volunteer doctors, nurses, and paramedics, all under the leadership of myself and our dedicated full-time children’s nurse, Gemma. Our camps provide a safe and supportive environment where children can step outside their comfort zones and embrace new experiences.
